Job Description

  • Program complex geometries for multi-axis CNC mills and lathes (MAZAK, OKUMA) using Mastercam or equivalent software.
  • Design and document machining setups and workholding strategies to ensure repeatable precision.
  • Evaluate part drawings and models to determine machining feasibility and sequence.
  • Select appropriate tooling and cutting parameters based on material type and geometry.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality and Production to troubleshoot process issues and drive throughput.
  • Support the full lifecycle of components, from prototype development to final inspection.

The Successful Applicant

  • Hands-on experience with multi-axis CNC machining-lathe and mill.
  • Strong programming proficiency in Mastercam (or similar CAM platforms).
  • Fluent in interpreting complex technical drawings and applying GD&T.
  • Comfortable working with aerospace-grade materials, including titanium and high-temp alloys.
  • Familiarity with metal manufacturing environments and lean principles.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Preferred: 5+ years in aerospace CNC manufacturing or a closely related field.
