Job Description

  • Accurate and efficient processing of security loans, repayments and collateralWork closely with the Repo trading desk to project collateral position intraday ensuring appropriate collateral for triparty allocationsSet-up agreement terms regarding collateral in credit systems for ongoing compliance monitoringManage requests for intraday transactions and approve if collateral position and/or covenant compliance is adequateManage requests for intraday transactions and approve if collateral position adequateReconcile and report on internal and external data (custodian, collateral vendors, service's reporting)Monitor collateral daily and identify non-compliant scenariosAnalyst within Collateral Management will primarily be focused on the mitigation of counter party credit risk through performance of a number of operational processesPledge and release of collateral at DTC, ensuring settlement activities occur as expectedRun advanced data analysis in Excel, SQL, Python, etc to create detailed reports of collateral positions and standings on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

The Successful Applicant

Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or business.

3-5 years relevant experience, preferably banking

Proactive - forward thinking individual. Ability to pick-up concepts, learn quickly and run with things

Understanding and experience of business controls and processes in banking

Ability to understand business drivers and working knowledge of financial products and services. Understanding of the banking industry, and market drivers

Good experience of process and project management skills (preferable, not mandatory)

Ability to execute against tight deadlines and remain agile to evolving requirements

Knowledge of SQL, Excel, Python for advnaced data analysis
