Job Description

  • Oversee the entire construction project lifecycle, from planning and design through to completion and handover.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and other project team members to ensure timely and quality delivery.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are completed within financial constraints.
  • Create detailed project schedules, track progress, and adjust timelines to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, stakeholders, and upper management to provide project updates and resolve issues.
  • Manage project risks, identify potential challenges, and proactively develop solutions.
  • Review and approve project plans, designs, and specifications, ensuring they align with client expectations.
  • Prepare and present project reports and documentation to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure quality control throughout the construction process and conduct site inspections.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a solid understanding of construction processes.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and motivate others to meet project goals.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to foresee potential issues and proactively implement solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and construction-related technologies.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational and time-management skills with an eye for detail and quality.
  • Qualification: Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field; PMP certification is a plus.
  • Safety and Compliance: Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Results-Driven: Demonstrated track record of successfully managing projects to completion, on time and within budget.
