Job Description

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal construction codes.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Review and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contracts.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
  • Ensure high-quality standards are met in all phases of construction.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Commercial Construction Superintendent should have:

  • Proven experience in commercial construction management.
  • Strong experience with master scheduling and operating Microsoft Project.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration.
