Assist lawyers in finance and other real estate related transactions, which may include document preparations or revision. Review title commitments, surveys, zoning reports and other due diligence items relating to commercial real estate transaction. Prepare title insurance commitments and assist in settlement services. Review closing documents for accuracy. Arranging for proper execution of original documents, including proper notaries when required. Assist with all post-closing matters, including without limitation, delivery of original closing documents to the appropriate parties; negotiation and collection of remaining postclosing items (such as, satisfactions, estoppels and SNDAs), follow up with title companies and the Land Records of each jurisdiction to confirm proper recording of closing documents. Record billable work on a daily basis and meet annual billable hour requirement.
