Job Description

  • Design, implement, and manage compensation and benefits programs.
  • Analyze compensation trends in the manufacturing industry to ensure competitive pay rates.
  • Coordinate with HR and management to understand their needs and ensure alignment with compensation strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
  • Manage the communication and delivery of compensation and benefits programs to employees.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with compensation and benefits vendors.
  • Prepare budget for compensation and benefits department.
  • Lead compensation and benefits related projects as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Compensation & Benefits Manager should have:

  • Prior experience in the manufacturing industry or related field working with hourly & salaried employees.
  • An advanced understanding of compensation and benefits strategy and implementation.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret compensation data and trends.
  • Ability to lead benefits transitions and enrollment periods.
  • Experience with systems transitions.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively deliver information to employees and management.
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy in all work.
  • A solid understanding of compensation and benefits laws and regulations.
