Job Description

  • Support project planning and coordination by assisting with schedules, subcontractor coordination, procurement tracking, and document control to help ensure the project stays on time and within scope.
  • Assist with cost management, including reviewing subcontractor proposals, monitoring budget updates, handling change order documentation, and helping maintain accurate financial records throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate communication between project managers, field teams, subcontractors, and clients by preparing meeting agendas, distributing updates, and ensuring all parties have the information they need to perform effectively.
  • Ensure quality and safety compliance by helping monitor site activities, documenting progress, supporting safety initiatives, and verifying that work aligns with plans, specifications, and company standards.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven work experience with ground up commercial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of education construction standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time, within-budget project delivery.
  • Problem-solving mindset, able to handle challenges quickly and efficiently
  • Must have 2+ years experience with a general contractor
