The company is known for its commitment to safety, quality, and long-term partnerships with public agencies.Job DescriptionConstruction Assistant Project Manager - NYC TransitAssist in managing daily operations of transit infrastructure projects, including work for New York City Transit, Long Island Rail Road (LIRR), MTA, and Amtrak.Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to ensure timely and safe execution.Maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.Conduct site visits and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.Support scheduling, budgeting, and reporting efforts.Monitor project progress and proactively identify potential issues or delays.Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve field challenges and implement design changes.Ensure all work adheres to MTA and LIRR safety protocols and procedures.Participate in project meetings and contribute to planning and execution strategies.Assist in preparing closeout documentation and final project deliverables.Contribute to ADA upgrades, station rehabilitations, and other public infrastructure improvements.Interface with agency representatives and ensure alignment with project specifications and regulatory requirements.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
