Job Description

  • Support preconstruction by preparing takeoffs, reviewing drawings, and assisting with budgets.
  • Work directly with the PM team to coordinate submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and change orders.
  • Participate in bid reviews, subcontractor outreach, and pricing evaluations.
  • Help track project financials, schedules, and procurement activities from award through closeout.
  • Assist with jobsite coordination and communication between field and office teams.
  • Balance both estimating and operations tasks depending on project load and company needs.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and contribute to smooth transitions between precon, construction, and turnover.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Construction Assistant Project Manager should have:

  • A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in multifamily and commercial construction projects.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of construction safety and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
