Job Description

Commercial Interiors Superintendent - Manhattan, NYC

      • Oversee all onsite construction activities for commercial interior fit‑outs, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality.
      • Coordinate subcontractors, trades, deliveries, site logistics, and day‑to‑day field operations.
      • Maintain and update daily logs, site reports, inspections, and safety documentation.
      • Collaborate closely with the Project Manager on scheduling, RFIs, design clarifications, and resolving field issues.
      • Ensure installation aligns with design intent, finish quality expectations, and client standards for interiors work.
      • Conduct onsite meetings, enforce safety protocols, and manage quality control throughout construction.
      • Drive tight timelines, manage sequencing, and ensure efficient workflow across multiple trades.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Construction Interiors Superintendent should have:

      • 5-10+ years of field supervision experience with a general contractor, with strong commercial interiors / TI experience (essential).
      • Deep understanding of interior finishes, MEP coordination, millwork installation, and fast‑track sequencing.
      • Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills, especially in client‑occupied or active building environments.
      • Highly organized and detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple trades simultaneously.
      • OSHA certifications and strong safety mindset required.
