Job Description



As a Project Engineer, you'll assist in managing the day-to-day operations of commercial construction projects, including K-12, municipal, and other ground-up or large-scale renovations. You'll support the project team with documentation, coordination, and communication across all phases of construction. Projects are located within a 30-minute radius of Richmond, and assignments will be based on your experience and strengths.Responsibilities:

  • Assist PM/SPM with project planning, scheduling, and execution
  • Maintain project documentation using Procore and MS Office
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field teams
  • Conduct site visits and support field operations
  • Track project progress and help ensure quality and safety standards are met

The Successful Applicant

  • 2-3 years of experience with a general contractor in the Richmond market
  • Commercial construction background (K-12, municipal, or similar)
  • Experience with ground-up or large-scale renovation projects
  • Proficient in Procore and Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Must be based in Richmond; no hybrid or relocation options
