Project Engineers will leverage their technical expertise, experience, and resourcefulness to enhance the delivery of our construction services. As the largest general contractor in the country, my client is a leader across all major market segments, including healthcare, education, commercial, sports, aviation, pharmaceutical, retail, and green building.

  • Mostly local work, construction projects within the greater Detroit area.
  • High repeat client rate in light to medium sized commercial work, across corporate interiors, healthcare and education construction.

Job Description

    • Assure all projects are built to drawings and specification
    • Handle the distribution and coordination of all RFIs, Submittals and Change Orders
    • Assure all materials orders are executed
    • Daily project paperwork
    • Maintaining schedule and meet deadlines
    • Maintain workflow and strong relations with subs
    • Maintain and organize field documents ( Drawings, specifications, etc )
    • Coordinate subcontractors
    • Partake and actively participate in company training sessions
    • Assure site superintendents maintain clean and safe sites

The Successful Applicant

    • Degree in Construction Management or related degree
    • 1+ year of General Contracting experience
    • Experienced in commercial, mixed-use, healthcare or education projects is a plus
    • Strong written and verbal communication
    • Desire and willingness to learn, grow, and take on more responsibility
