Job Description

  • Manage multiple projects at a time from pre-construction until the final punch list is signed off
  • Measure, monitor, and report progress to ensure the project is delivered on time
  • Schedule, supervise, and monitor performance of all subcontractors
  • Prioritize and work under time constraints to meet deadlines
  • Maintain constant communication with clients, designers, architects, and neighbors
  • Schedule and attend all City inspection

The Successful Applicant

  • Undergraduate degree in construction management, construction engineering, engineering, or related degree.
  • Preferred: 1-5 years of related professional experience in the construction field, especially custom home experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Software: Working knowledge of computers and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel and BlueBeam.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Detailed Oriented: Ability to recognize discrepancies.
  • Work Ethic: Willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
  • Cooperation: The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Potential Physical Demands: Ability to work long hours. Ability to perform outdoor tasks in extreme weather conditions. Ability to see and respond to potentially dangerous situations. Ability to walk up and down stairs. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
