Job Description

Manage full project lifecycle for K‑12 and institutional projects in the Charlotte region.
Oversee budgeting, scheduling, procurement, contract administration, and cost management.
Lead OAC meetings, maintain client relationships, and ensure consistent communication.
Partner closely with Superintendents to maintain jobsite safety, logistics, and workflow.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, inspectors, and trade partners to maintain schedule and quality.
Review drawings, submittals, change orders, RFI logs, and monthly project reporting.Ensure adherence to local building codes and regulations in Charlotte.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project teams.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Construction Project Manager should have:

5-10+ years of experience as a Project Manager.
K‑12 project experience strongly preferred; higher ed or municipal experience also relevant.
Proven track record managing $15M-$40M+ ground‑up or major renovation projects.
Strong tenure - stable employment history required.
Background with reputable GCs; experience on institutional projects ideal.
Excellent communication, leadership, scheduling, and documentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain high client satisfaction.
Local to Charlotte, NC, or willing to relocate.
