Job Description

  • Create project budgets for all projects
  • Maintain high level of safety standards, including but not limited to all safety documentation being filed
  • This construction Project Manager must establish various job processes, submittals, RFI's, pay applications and work with and negotiate all of the subcontractors change orders
  • Collaborate with the site operator and superintendent
  • Manage project scheduling, ensuring quality control and timeliness of overall project scope
  • Lead project meetings, establishing milestones and time line goals for project
  • Formulate monthly owner reports
  • Mentor and supervise assistant project managers
  • Provide support for various operation role

The Successful Applicant

  • Four year degree with concentration in construction, engineering and or business
  • 5 + years in commercial construction
  • Minimum 3 years with current employer
  • 3 + years on projects including commercial TI
  • Extensive experience with construction software included but not limited to: ProCore, BlueBeam and Microsoft office
  • Flexibility and effectively cope with change
  • Clearly represent all information so that even bad news can be handled with expediency and transparency
  • A successful Project Manager must be able to keep composure under pressure and encourage collaboration in the face of conflict
  • Self-motivated to learn
  • Ability to mentor and lead a team
  • Communicates clearly and demonstrates a positive attitude
  • Passion for construction
