Job Description

Reporting directly into the President, the main duties and responsibilities of the Project Manager will include the following:

  • Initiate and maintain relationships with owners, architects, and developers
  • Negotiate and secure new business
  • Monitor and control construction by ensuring projects are built on schedule and within budget
  • Understand and replicate safety policies
  • Represent company in project meetings
  • Assist in labor negotiations and strategy meetings
  • Facilitate and participate in client presentations and project interviews
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts
  • Supervise the work of Project Managers/Project Engineers when assigned.
  • Mentor junior employees
  • Assume additional job related responsibilities as directed by leadership

The Successful Applicant

In return for a competitive compensation package, the successful candidate will possess the following:

  • 4 year degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or something equivalent
  • 7-10+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects
  • Federal/Government construction experience is a plus
  • Advanced problem solving and negotiation capabilities
  • Knowledge of common financial practices within construction industry
  • Must be proficient in construction software
