Our client is a well-established New York City-based General Contractor specializing in high-end residential interior gut renovations for private, high-net-worth clients. Their portfolio includes luxury apartments, townhouses, and penthouses throughout Manhattan and surrounding boroughs. The firm is known for quality craftsmanship, discretion, and delivering complex interior projects in occupied urban environments.

Job Description

As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following

  • Manage full project lifecycle: pre-con, construction, and close-out
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects, and designers
  • Develop and track project schedules, budgets, and cost reports
  • Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
  • Conduct site meetings and ensure quality control and safety compliance
  • Maintain clear communication with clients and internal leadership
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to luxury standards

The Successful Applicant

A successful Construction Project Manager should have:

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience with a GC
  • Strong background in high-end residential interior gut renovations
  • Experience working with architects, interior designers, and private clients
  • Knowledge of NYC building codes, DOB requirements, and inspections
  • Proficient with construction management software and scheduling tools
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
