Job Description

  • Assist Project team in the development and updating of the Construction Schedule
  • Assist in the development of the Subcontracts and Purchase Orders
  • Coordinate, implement and monitor Project Engineer training and development
  • Provide support for the Project Superintendent
  • Provide leadership to the Project Staff and the Project
  • Analyze and monitor job costs and maintain accurate reports
  • Manage and be responsible for processing and tracking the monthly Owner Payment Application
  • Track, review, and process Change Proposal Requests, Change Orders and, if applicable, claims
  • Analyze and complete the Quarterly Profit Projection Reports.

The Successful Applicant

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in relevant field is preferred
  • Experience with Multifamily, Senior Living, or Commercial Construction
  • 5+ years experience as an assistant Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, or Project Engineer
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to run and lead a job site
  • Understands best practices to run a job-site
  • Ability to effectively communicate with owners, sub-contractors, and other team members
  • Organizational skills, including time management, delegation, and prioritization
  • Understanding of construction equipment, including safe operating practices and signs of maintenance
