Job Description

Construction Public Assistant Project Manager - Long Island, NY

    • Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating all phases of ground-up construction projects.
    • Track project progress, budgets, and documentation to ensure compliance and timely delivery.
    • Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain workflow.
    • Support in preparing reports, change orders, and project closeout documentation.



  • Work closely with subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery of materials and services.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:

  • 2+ years of experience in construction, ideally in an assistant or junior project management role.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with ground-up construction processes and public project requirements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and support multiple priorities
  • Expereience in ground up interiors public projects - Retail, commercial, industrial, healthcare, and institutional
