My client is a family owned general contractor out of the Greater St. Louis area. They have experience in a wide variety of markets including, commercial, greenhouse, heavy/light-industrial, healthcare, assisted-living, and higher education. Job Description
- Manage construction projects $20M+
- Partner with clients from design phase through completion
- Perform conceptual estimates as well as hard bid
- Solicit subcontractor bids to formulate bid packages
- Perform quantity takeoffs
- Lead project meetings
- Coordinate with superintendent on putting together schedules and materials budgeting
- Review and process necessary change orders
- Ensure safety standards are enforced on project sites
- Mentor & train project engineers, project managers, and assistant project managers
- Develop long-lasting client relationships to ensure repeat business

The Successful Applicant
- At least 5-10+ years of experience with a general contractor
- Bachelor's degree required
- Organized and communicative
- See projects through to completion
- Experience in design/build
- Strong technical and computer skills in industry-related programs preferred
- Experience with Project Management and Estimating software
- Prior experience with estimating
