About Our Client

Our client is a well respected general contractor within Chicago with a good reputation in the market. The majority of their projects are big box retail, along with some luxury restaurants and senior living facilities. 70% of their work comes from repeat business. Our client has about 80 people in office and last year they brought in around $300M. Our client also offers a flexible work schedule with hybrid working options for the entire project management department. Family owned and operated for fifty years, they also had very little turnover.

Job Description

  • Project Portfolio: Various sectors and locations including Mixed-use, Public, Healthcare, Distribution, Residential, etc
  • Project Scope: Can include ground-up and/or renovation and interior builds depending on the candidate and the best project fit
  • Scheduling projects and budgeting time required to meet deadlines established by clients
  • Building and maintaining relationships critical to the success of the overall project and company
  • Oversee a team of Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers
  • Ensuring compliance, budget, and schedule are all on track and adhered to throughout the duration of the project
  • Obtaining, assembling, distributing, and filling all as-built drawings, warranties, certificates of occupancy, and lien releases
  • Manage relationships with both subcontractors and owning entities to ensure project scope is being met by all parties

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction or Civil Engineering
  • Experience on mid to large size projects
  • Proficient in ProCore, Bluebeam, CMIC
  • Interpersonal communication
  • Ability to adapt to ensure project success
  • Valid drivers license REQUIRED
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Projects
