Job Description

Project Manager responsibilities:

  • Maintain adherence to standards of safety; ensuring required documentation is filed
  • Create and manage project budget for all assigned projects
  • Develop and collaborate on pre-construction RFP package
  • Conduct project meetings, set milestones, formulate monthly owner reports
  • Establish job processes including approving pay applications and negotiating subcontract change orders
  • Perform project scheduling (ensure quality and establish logistics)
  • Manage the closeout process efficiently
  • Supervise support roles (Assistant Project Manager, Admin., MEP Manager, Safety Team Members
  • Collaborate with Superintendent and site operations team during the entire project

The Successful Applicant

Project Manager Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required, four-year degree from an accredited university within the construction/ engineering/ business concentrations strongly preferred
  • 5+ years' experience in commercial construction, including with a commercial general contractor
  • Previous experience in a project management role
  • Ability to execute multiple projects and /or simultaneously
  • Ability to master software systems including: Microsoft Office Suite, ProCore, Adobe, Bluebeam, JD Edwards
  • Able to read construction drawings including reading, interpreting and updating construction project-related drawings
  • Ability to organize resources (people, tools, time)
  • Knowledge of current market conditions including industry pricing conventions and trends
  • Able to carry oneself as a leader and knowledge holder of the project
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude
  • Communicate Clearly, concisely, and professionally
  • Take initiative and seek responsibility
  • Demonstrate integrity consistent with company values
