If you are looking for an opportunity for career growth, innovative projects, great company atmosphere, and the ability to lead a field team without micromanagement, this opportunity is for you!Please apply now for immediate consideration, or reach out to Davis Fallon directly at 617-824-2689!Job DescriptionConstruction Superintendent - Award Winning GC - Charlotte will be responsible for:Project Oversight: Supervise all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards.Site Coordination: Coordinate daily job site operations, including managing subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to maintain workflow and productivity.Schedule Management: Develop and maintain construction schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.Quality Control: Enforce quality assurance procedures and ensure work complies with project specifications, drawings, and industry standards.Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols, conduct regular site inspections, and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.Problem-Solving: Identify and address issues or delays promptly, providing solutions to keep the project on track.Subcontractor Management: Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring they adhere to project scope, schedule, and safety requirements.Communication: Serve as the primary on-site contact for project managers, owners, architects, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress and challenges.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain daily reports, site logs, RFIs, change orders, and other project-related documentation.Resource Allocation: Manage labor, materials, and equipment efficiently to optimize productivity and cost-effectiveness.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
