Job Description

The Superintendent will be responsible for:

  • Oversee all aspects of on-site construction, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage subcontractors, schedules, and site logistics to maintain efficiency and quality standards.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with local building codes and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to provide updates and address challenges.
  • Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to coordinate workflow and problem-solve on-site issues.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure high standards of workmanship.
  • Maintain project documentation, including daily reports, progress tracking, and subcontractor coordination.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Superintendent will have:

  • 3-6 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
  • Ability to independently manage projects from start to finish.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills to drive project success.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities with subcontractors, clients, and project teams.
  • Deep understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and local building codes.
  • Experience with scheduling, budgeting, and project documentation.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • A results-driven mindset with attention to detail and quality.
