With a strong focus on innovation and excellence, the company is dedicated to both employee growth and community impact.Job DescriptionThe Superintendent will be responsible for:Leading and managing all on-site construction activities for custom home projects from start to finishEnsuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and building codesMonitoring project progress and taking proactive measures to address any issues or delays that may ariseDeveloping and maintaining detailed project schedules, including critical milestones and deliverableCoordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipmentMonitoring progress against the schedule and make adjustments as necessary to meet project deadlinesImplementing and enforcing quality control processes to ensure that all construction work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectationsConducting regular inspections and audits to identify and address any deficiencies promptlySelecting, coordinating, and managing subcontractors and suppliers involved in the construction processMonitoring subcontractor performance, resolve conflicts, and ensure adherence to project requirements, safety protocols, and timelinesMaintaining a safe and compliant work environment by enforcing safety protocols and ensuring adherence to relevant building codes, regulations, and permitsConducting regular safety meetings and inspections, and address any safety concerns promptlyWorking closely with the project team to monitor and control project costsReviewing and approving subcontractor and supplier invoices, track project expenses, and identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising qualityActing as the main point of contact for clients during the construction phase - Providing regular updates on project progress, address client inquiries and concerns, and ensure a high level of customer satisfactionEvaluating change orders and modifications to the project scopeAssessing the impact on the schedule, budget, and quality, and coordinate with the project team and clients to implement changes effectivelyMaintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, change orders, and other relevant recordsPreparing regular reports on project status, budget, and any issues or risks that may arise.Leading and motivating the on-site construction team, including subcontractors and suppliersMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
