About Our Client

Our client is a well-established GC with a strong reputation for quality, safety, and innovation. They specialize in ground-up construction, luxury interiors, and complex renovations, with a portfolio that includes landmark buildings and high-profile developments.

Job Description

  • Oversee daily site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to spec
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel
  • Enforce safety protocols and compliance with NYC DOB regulations
  • Communicate progress and issues to project managers and stakeholders
  • Maintain detailed site documentation and reporting

The Successful Applicant

A successful Public Superintendent should have:

  • 7+ years of superintendent experience in NYC construction
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and construction sequencing
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple trades on-site
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • OSHA 30 certified; NYC SST card preferred
