About Our Client

Our client is a well‑established general contractor based in Westchester County specializing in public projects such as K‑12 schools, religious facilities, municipal buildings, and other community-serving spaces. As the company continues to grow, they are in the process of moving into a larger office by year-end to support an expanding staff and increasing project workload.

Job Description

    • Lead all on-site construction activities for ground‑up and interior public/commercial projects.
    • Manage subcontractors, daily site operations, scheduling, inspections, and safety compliance.
    • Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and all applicable local and state regulations.
    • Identify and resolve site issues quickly to maintain schedule and quality standards.
    • Work closely with Project Managers and office staff to maintain smooth project execution.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have:

    • Proven experience as a Superintendent on commercial or public-sector construction projects (schools, municipal buildings, religious facilities, etc.).
    • Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • A hands-on leader with excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate multiple trades.
