The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for managing day-to-day on-site operations for full gut residential renovations. This individual will ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Our client is a premier General Contractor based in New York, New York specializing in luxury gut renovations of Penthouses, Apartments, and Townhomes throughout Manhattan. Their projects are design-driven, technically complex, and executed to the highest standards of craftsmanship.

Job Description

As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Oversee daily site operations for luxury interior gut renovations
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades
  • Enforce site safety and maintain clean, organized job sites
  • Manage project schedules and sequencing of trades
  • Conduct quality control inspections on high-end finishes and millwork
  • Coordinate with building management and adhere to house rules
  • Review drawings and proactively resolve field conflicts
  • Support Project Manager with progress reporting and updates

The Successful Applicant

A successful Construction Superintendent should have:

  • 5+ years of superintendent experience in high-end residential interiors
  • Strong knowledge of NYC construction logistics and building protocols
  • Experience working in co-ops, condos, and townhomes
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • OSHA certification preferred
