Job Description

The superintendent will be responsible for:



  • Project Management: Review and interpret contract documents including architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings.


  • Team Leadership: Manage daily field operations including subcontractor coordination, trade sequencing, and schedule updates.


  • Documentation: Produce RFIs, maintain construction logs, write daily field reports, and communicate effectively via email. Take and file daily progress photos to document project milestones.


  • Safety Compliance: Conduct regular safety meetings (Toolbox Talks) and enforce construction safety practices.


  • Schedule Management: Coordinate between various trades to ensure smooth workflow and timely project delivery.


  • Quality Control: Monitor quality assurance and ensure compliance with project specifications.

The Successful Applicant

A successful superintendent will have:



  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Superintendent in construction.


  • Strong background in masonry or carpentry is highly preferred.


  • Proficient in reading and understanding technical documents and blueprints.


  • Familiar with CPM scheduling and capable of communicating progress to scheduling consultants.


  • Competent in using Excel and generating clear written correspondence.


  • Professional demeanor with the ability to interface effectively with owners, subcontractors, and unions.
