As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team and help us shape the future of multi-family housing in Detroit.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Manage and supervise on-site construction activities for commercial projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project schedules.Collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.Conduct regular site inspections, maintain detailed records, and report progress to project management.Lead a team of skilled trades, laborers, and subcontractors to ensure efficient and effective project execution.Resolve on-site issues, conflicts, and unexpected challenges in a proactive and timely manner.Monitor and manage project budgets and costs, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.Maintain a safe and organized construction site, emphasizing adherence to safety protocols and regulations.Foster a culture of teamwork, quality, and continuous improvement among on-site personnel.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
