About Our Client

Our client is a National General Contractor based in the Twin-Cities for 50 years. They are looking to expand their team with a motivated and self-sufficient Traveling Site Superintendent that has experience in Commercial, Healthcare, and Complex Projects experienced.

  • Direct day-to-day on-site supervision of field labor force
  • Maintain good relationships with internal and external clients
  • Develop and maintain site logistics plan
  • Conduct quality inspections
  • Coordinate site testing and inspection efforts
  • Monitor costs, including labor time and material
  • Manage schedules, including preparation of detailed short-term schedules and ensuring all activities take place on or ahead of scheduled dates
  • Prepare and submit Superintendent's Daily Reports
  • Attend and participate in project meetings, including subcontractor meetings

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree, in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is a plus
  • 5-10+ years of experience of supervisory experience in Construction
  • TI and ground-up experience with large Commercial and Healthcare
  • Working knowledge of field construction: systems, practices, safety and procedures. Also, knowledge of general engineering principals and construction techniques, materials, methods, and sequencing
  • Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
