Job Description

  • Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies to optimize engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Analyze current processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions to enhance productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Monitor and report on the success of implemented improvements and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Train and mentor team members on continuous improvement methodologies and practices.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies during project execution.
  • Utilize data and analytics to support decision-making and track progress of improvement initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the organization.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Continuous Improvement Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality, operations, or continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.
  • Six Sigma, kaizen, and lean manufacturing experience.
  • Knowledge in ERP systems.
  • Quality management/engineering background with ASQ certifications desired (CQE/CRE/CQM/CQA).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address process inefficiencies.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead training initiatives.
