Job Description

  • Recruitment of Education Consultants

Potential projects and responsibilities:

      • Work with Directors of Core & K-2 to recruit for various Education Consultant for 10 month or 12 months.
      • Support recruitment e.g. resume review, phone interviews and crafting materials for hiring search such as Rubrics, utilizing Clear Company to identify appropriate competencies for the position
      • Create job postings and work with External Consulting Firm to develop competency roadmap.
      • Lead scheduling and interview process while collaborating with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies
      • conduct background checks and employee eligibility requirements
  • Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques, including internet and social media.
  • Lead recruitment, selection and hiring of top talent- both internal full
  • Potential projects and responsibilities:
    • Endofyear celebration
      • Work with CEO, VPs and CEO to plan annual end celebration. This takes place in either July or August.

Potential projects and responsibilities:

    • Handle all Open Enrollment Communication in September
    • Keep track of office staff vacation, sick pay;
    • Lead Health and pension programs and 403B plan.
    • Process payroll and title changes in ADP and enter new hire information.

  • Onboarding & Training

Potential Projects and Responsibilities:

    • Support with onboarding, ensuring synchronous / asynchronous training and Sales Force is
    • Identify appropriate HR training to load on the LMS that ensure we comply with state regs. (eg. sexual harassment)
    • Develop HR onboarding presentation and host mandated training for new staff.
    • Work with Teams and operations to ensure effective, consistent and structured on-boarding is provided to new employees.
    • Org Chart - keep all versions up to date
  • Employee Performance and Development

Assist with training and development programs, providing recommendations and coordination as needed to include-

    • Maintain performance appraisal calendar and advise leadership team of pending due dates
    • Lead annual performance appraisal calendar advise leadership teams of pending due dates

The Successful Applicant

  • You will need to have experience identifying qualified candidates through creative recruitment strategies such as proactive searches, online posting boards and employee referral campaigns while managing and delivering the full life cycle of recruiting responsibilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field required
  • A minimum of 2-4yrs progressive, well-rounded generalist experience, preferably within a non-profit/ education organization is preferred
  • Good understanding of HR generalist capabilities (e.g. recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development)
  • Experience using creative techniques to identify potential talent using multiple methods of sourcing and recruiting passive prospects; demonstrated ability to source & recruit for a broad range of positions
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and build relationships proactively with employees at all levels
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong integrity with ability to maintain confidentiality and manage highly-sensitive information in an open work space
  • Ability to manage through ambiguity and competing priorities in a fast paced and nimble work environment
