They promote a strong work-life balance.Job DescriptionPrepare and coordinate agency government, RFP and private funder budgets/billingsAssist in preparing annual Agency-wide budgetMonitor all spending, variance analysis and contract funding utilizationMonitor timeline for budgets, modifications and billing to ensure timely budget submission.Maintain the budget module and reporting systems in accounting software and related systemsPrepare analysis and documentation for quarterly budget meetings with program leadership to ensure best practice and use of agency revenuePrepare budget modifications and journal entries as neededPrepare financial analysis, including budget to financial variances, key financial health indicators, and other as needed for private fundersWork with other departments within the Fiscal Contracts Department on a regular basis in a supportive role to assist in meeting their objectivesProvide audit documentation as requestedAssist Controller with State Standards of Payment preparationWork closely with the GAP department to monitor outstanding funding issuesContact government agencies as necessary to ensure Agency meets all guidelinesMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
