They are looking for an experienced Director of Preconstruction to join their team and help run the office.Job DescriptionOversee all accounting and financial operations, including job cost accounting, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.Ensure accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP and industry regulations.Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve financial processes.Partner with project managers to track job costs, project budgets, WIP (Work-in-Progress) reporting, and profitability.Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management efforts to support company growth.Manage banking relationships, financial audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.Evaluate and enhance financial systems, reporting tools, and accounting software to drive efficiency.Provide mentorship and leadership to the accounting team, fostering professional growth.Oversee subcontractor compliance, including lien waivers, insurance certificates, and contract terms.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
