About Our Client

The organization is a fast-paced, team-oriented Marketing Agency that is looking to continue its growth going into the New Year. The team has 4 people on it currently, but they are looking to add more people once the controller gets more comfortable within the organization as they are forecasting a large amount of growth over the next two years.

Job Description

  • Maintain and ensure compliance in financial reporting and statement preparation.
  • Perform daily payment posting, bank reconciliations, and revenue reporting.
  • Oversee weekly accounts receivable and payable processes, payroll, cost control, and credit card transactions.
  • Manage the monthly close process, budget updates, forecasting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate annual audits and tax preparations with the CFO, as well as ad hoc external reporting.

The Successful Applicant

  • CPA certification is desired, but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration.
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in GAAP, ASC 606 revenue recognition, and cash flow management.
  • Familiarity with Quickbooks and Datarails, strong financial presentation skills, and a detail-oriented mindset.
