With past progression, this individual will have the opportunity to become the next CFO.Job DescriptionController Responsibilties:Manage all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.Oversee cost and inventory accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and reducing variances.Prepare and analyze financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports).Lead monthly and year-end close processes while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.Coordinate audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance requirements.Develop and monitor budgets, financial models, and rolling forecasts.Collaborate with senior management to provide actionable financial insights and recommendations.Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of excellence.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
