With a collaborative culture and a focus on innovation, this company offers an excellent opportunity for a finance leader to make a significant impact.This client is in huge growth mode and is now seeking a Controller to join their organization and have ownership over the business from an Accounting & Finance standpoint.Reporting directly into the CEO and COO, the Controller will have full ownership of the accounting and finance function, while leading 1 other individual. You will also drive key process improvements to create efficiencies within the organization involving month-end, forecasting/budgeting, system implementations, and more.Job DescriptionController Responsibilities:Lead month-end close, general ledger management, AP/AR, and payroll oversightOversee manufacturing cost accounting and inventory valuationImplement and optimize ERP systems (Epicor preferred)Transition from cash-based to accrual accountingDevelop FP&A processes: forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and analysisMaintain internal controls and drive process improvementsSupervise accounting staff and collaborate cross-functionallyMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
