Job Description

Controller Responsibilities:

  • Manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and maintain data integrity.
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations for decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial reporting requirements.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting team to achieve department objectives.
  • Work closely with external auditors during the year-end audit process.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting and finance within the manufacturing industry
  • Management experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices within the industrial and manufacturing sectors.
  • Proficiency with financial software and tools, such as ERP systems and Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
