• Financial Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights into financial performance.
  • Oversee the preparation of management reports and ensure timely reporting to senior management.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor budget variances and report significant discrepancies.
  • Provide financial projections and forecasts to support strategic planning.
• Accounting Operations:
  • Oversee the accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
  • Maintain and enforce internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Compliance and Audits:
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
  • Coordinate and manage external audits and reviews.
  • Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Cash Flow Management:
  • Monitor and manage the company's cash flow.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and ensure adequate liquidity for operations.
  • Oversee the management of credit and collections.
• Project Accounting:
  • Manage project accounting and ensure accurate cost allocation.
  • Oversee job costing and work-in-progress accounting.
  • Provide financial support and analysis for project managers.
• Team Leadership:
  • Supervise and mentor accounting and finance staff.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance team.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
