In addition to a competitive salary and industry leading benefits, this person will also have a clear path into a Controller position.Job DescriptionFinancial Reporting and Analysis:Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Conduct financial analysis and provide insights into financial performance.Oversee the preparation of management reports and ensure timely reporting to senior management.Budgeting and Forecasting:Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.Monitor budget variances and report significant discrepancies.Provide financial projections and forecasts to support strategic planning.Accounting Operations:Oversee the accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.Maintain and enforce internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data.Compliance and Audits:Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.Coordinate and manage external audits and reviews.Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Cash Flow Management:Monitor and manage the company's cash flow.Prepare cash flow forecasts and ensure adequate liquidity for operations.Oversee the management of credit and collections.Project Accounting:Manage project accounting and ensure accurate cost allocation.Oversee job costing and work-in-progress accounting.Provide financial support and analysis for project managers.Team Leadership:Supervise and mentor accounting and finance staff.Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance team.Provide training and development opportunities for team members.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
