The Controller will oversee the scope of the entire accounting department while serving as the financial POC for all investors, clients, and executives. The role requires someone who is dynamic, a problem solve,r and fluent with ERP implementations/transitions to navigate the growth my client is experiencing. They will also work closely with the team to shape the company's financial infrastructure to support scalability and enhance the client experience.

About Our Client

My client is a private equity backed firm tat has developed an innovative new back-office technology platform designed for staffing and medical companies. They are a full service platform which provides services on both front and back end needs and can handle full cycles from customer/client outreach to legal and bill pay functions.

Job Description

  • Management of all key accounting functions, high transaction workload experience, and AR/AP process management
  • Client advising for reconciliations and back office bill pay support
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, develop budgets, and monitor financial performance
  • ERP Implementations, process management and improvement
  • Manage and mentor the finance team and work closely with service providers

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA certification ++
  • 7+ years of progressively senior experience in finance and accounting roles, minimum of 3 years leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in accounting software, implementation experience ++
  • Prior experience in staffing, Tech Start-Up, PEO, or payroll industries is advantageous, though not required.
