This is an exciting opportunity for a CPA with public accounting experience who is looking for a leadership role in a stable, community-oriented organization.Job DescriptionLead and manage all accounting functions, including general ledger, cost accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and enhance operational efficiency.Partner with operations to analyze cost structures, inventory accounting, and financial performance metrics.Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts, providing strategic insights to senior management.Coordinate and manage external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting requirements.Identify and implement process improvements and financial system enhancements to drive efficiency.Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for the accounting team.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
