Controller

• Financial Management & Reporting: Oversight of accounting operations (general ledger, financial reporting, multi-currency). Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal policies.
• Grant & Donor Financial Management: Ensure financial compliance with donor requirements. Oversee proper allocation of restricted/unrestricted funds.
• Internal Controls & Risk Management: Design and monitor internal controls. Identify and mitigate financial risks.
• Audit & Compliance: Lead internal/external audits, including OMB A-133 and Form 990. Implement process improvements based on audit findings.
• Cash Flow & Liquidity Management: Manage organizational cash flow, liquidity, and foreign exchange exposure.
• Team Leadership: Lead a team of 13, including 4 direct reports, across multiple countries.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate financial matters to internal and external stakeholders. Support cross-departmental strategic initiatives.
• Special Areas: Oversee investment portfolio and post-retirement fund accounting. Ensure compliance with non-resident alien taxation.
