The firm has experienced significant growth and is looking for a strategic financial leader to oversee its financial operations and support its continued success.Job DescriptionFinancial Leadership:Provides strategic financial insights and recommendations to the COO and firm leadership.Develops and implements financial strategies aligned with the firm's growth goals.Accounting and Financial Operations:Oversees the preparation and accuracy of financial statements in compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.Manages core accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, payroll, and treasury.Supervises month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Budgeting and Forecasting:Leads the annual budgeting process, preparing detailed forecasts and conducting variance analyses.Monitors financial performance against budgets and key performance indicators (KPIs).Compliance and Risk Management:Ensures compliance with legal, tax, and regulatory requirements, including audit readiness.Develops and maintains strong internal controls to protect the firm's financial assets.Team Leadership and Development:Manages and mentors a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.Builds strong relationships with internal stakeholders to enhance financial operations and communication.Process Improvement and Technology:Identifies opportunities to optimize financial operations and implement best practices.Evaluates and enhances financial systems and tools to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
