We are seeking a talented and experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join our finance team and help drive our tax strategy forward.Job DescriptionAs the Corporate Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's tax compliance, planning, and reporting activities. You will ensure adherence to tax laws and regulations, optimize tax positions, and provide strategic tax advice to support business operations and growth.Key Responsibilities:Tax Compliance: Manage the preparation and filing of federal, state, and international tax returns. Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, and stay current with changes in tax legislation.Tax Planning: Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize the company's tax position. Analyze the tax implications of business decisions and transactions.Financial Reporting: Oversee the accurate reporting of tax provisions and deferred tax assets/liabilities in financial statements. Collaborate with external auditors to ensure tax-related aspects of financial statements are accurately presented.Audit Management: Lead tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities. Prepare necessary documentation and provide clear and timely responses to ensure successful audit outcomes.Strategy Development: Work with senior management to develop and execute tax strategies that align with business objectives. Provide insights and recommendations on tax-related issues.Team Leadership: Manage and mentor tax team members, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve tax processes and systems. Implement best practices and enhance efficiency in tax operations.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or advanced tax certification preferred.Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive tax experience, preferably within a large manufacturing or multinational company.
