Cost Accounting Manager - Global Manufacturer - Schaumburg, IL

Cost Accounting Manager Responsibilities:

• Implement cost accounting process improvements and procedures for use within multiple departments within the organization
• Conduct the monthly analyses of supply chain pricing and costs to track and develop management reports for senior leadership
• Maintain the weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly pricing files to create and distribute pricing data reports throughout the company
• Oversee the preparation of the sales and cost components for the budget to ensure the margin is similar to direct costs and product pricing
• Create product numbers and costing runs in the system to maintain standards and help prepare monthly journal entries
• Collaborate with auditors when necessary to help assist with the inventory process, verify counts, and investigate unusual inventory activity
• Participate in company ERP implementation process
• Assist in ad hoc costing activities and analysis as needed
