This company is in rapid growth mode through key strategic acquisitions, and they are now looking to bring on a Cost Accounting Manager to their growing team.Reporting into the Director of Finance, the Cost Accounting Manager will be a true strategic business partner to supply chain, operations, and logistics teams across 40+ distribution/manufacturing centers centers. In addition, you will own and build out the cost accounting processes and procedures, and continue to drive process improvements within the team.Job DescriptionCost Accounting Manager Responsibilities:Implement cost accounting process improvements and procedures for use within multiple departments within the organizationConduct the monthly analyses of supply chain pricing and costs to track and develop management reports for senior leadershipMaintain the weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly pricing files to create and distribute pricing data reports throughout the companyOversee the preparation of the sales and cost components for the budget to ensure the margin is similar to direct costs and product pricingCreate product numbers and costing runs in the system to maintain standards and help prepare monthly journal entriesCollaborate with auditors when necessary to help assist with the inventory process, verify counts, and investigate unusual inventory activityParticipate in company ERP implementation processAssist in ad hoc costing activities and analysis as neededMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
