My client is a leading multinational company in the Premium Ceramic Manufacturing industry, growing at high speed in the US market. They are investing +$150 MM in a new facility in Tennessee and the position will lead the Cost controller activities in the plant.

Description
- Spearhead strategic planning processes
- Coordinate closing routines, accounting costs, COGS, stocks and inventories
- Develop and implement improvements in processes, and controls related to industrial logistical costs
- Manage and improve costing system
- Develop and monitor KPIs
- Reports to the Unit and Corporate board
- Attend external audit in points related to Industrial Cost
- Analyze and monitor new product's and project's ROI
- Lead projects related to area
- Identify opportunities in cost reduction of manufacturing and logistics costs
- Support purchasing area in negotiations dealing with suppliers
- Support customer services, manufacturing and logistics departments when required
- Reports to head of Finance located in business unit and CFO
Required Skills and abilities:
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor degree in accounting, economics, business & administration, production engineering or related fields
- Master degree in related area is a plus
- 3+ years of working experience in related fields
- Previous Improvements of cost reduction processes

- Experience managing high budgets
- Understanding of and experience in supply control
- Systemic view: end-to-end supply controller (manufacturing, procurement, customer service)
- Experience with factory plants in a plus
- Advanced Excel
- Experience with Oracle system and SPS
