Cost Estimation and Quoting Engineer

• Quotation & Estimating: Review customer drawings/RFQs, determine required processes (CNC, welding, finishing), estimate machine hours, labor, and material costs.
• Cost Analysis: Calculate overhead, profit margins, and total landed costs to provide competitive pricing.
• Process Optimization: Identify cost-effective methods, suggest design improvements for manufacturability (DFM), and reduce waste.
• Collaboration: Work with sales (pricing), production (scheduling/feasibility), and management (operational excellence).
• Documentation: Create Bill of Estimates (BOE), track costs, and maintain cost models.
• Work within various Costing Software/ERP proficiency.
