CRE Credit Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Review credit applications and supporting documentation, including financial statements, appraisals, environmental reports, rent rolls, leases, and title reports
• Conduct appraisal reviews and participate in property inspections for new loan requests
• Prepare credit assessments for new originations and renewals, ensuring alignment with internal policies and risk standards
• Collaborate with front-office teams to collect documentation and revise credit proposals as needed
• Recommend loan structures and facility terms within the internal credit system
• Track pipeline activity and update internal reporting tools
• Perform post-booking callbacks and ensure completion of closing checklists
• Assist in reviewing loan documentation for accuracy and compliance
• Maintain adherence to internal ethics and risk management protocols
