Our client is a highly respected custom residential builder with over 30 years in business and a team of 50+ professionals. Known for craftsmanship, integrity, and a strong internal culture, they build luxury homes across the Route 2 corridor in Massachusetts, including Concord, Carlisle, Groton, Lexington, and Wayland. With their own cabinetry shop and a history of promoting from within, they offer a unique opportunity to grow in a teaching-focused environment.

Job Description

We're seeking either an experienced Project Manager (5+ years) or a motivated Assistant Project Manager ready to learn and grow. You'll be involved in managing or supporting high-end custom home builds from budgeting through to client handover.Responsibilities:

  • Oversee or assist with budgeting, estimating, and scheduling
  • Coordinate subcontractors and internal teams, including cabinetry shop
  • Manage client communications and expectations
  • Handle change orders and project documentation
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to timelines
  • Split time between office in Ayer and project sites
  • Use Buildertrend and Excel for project tracking and budgeting

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience in high-end residential construction preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with Buildertrend and Excel
  • Ability to work on-site and in-office (no remote/hybrid)
  • Local to Massachusetts or willing to commute to Ayer and Route 2 corridor
